Festivities with Perrier-Jouët at The Ned

Perrier-Jouët hosted an intimate festive lunch for Members at The Ned this week , where amazing West-End performers sang Christmas classics in chorus, to guests who were snuggled in sheepskin and sipping champagne. We had the pleasure of dressing the roof-top bar with gorgeous floral arrangements. Aptly snowy Avalanche Roses, fragrant Lilac, Pom Pom Ranunculus and of course Anemones were intermingled with fluffy pine, helping to transform the space into a winter wonderland for the afternoon.

Malfy Gin's roof-top takeover at The Ned

We brought the Amalfi Coast to The Ned’s rooftop bar for Malfy Gin's takeover. A luscious canopy of lemons and bougainvillea trailed above the heads of guests who were enjoying Malfy cocktails in the sunshine. Tempting citrus fruit was nestled amongst swathes of beautiful coral peeled-back rose arrangements, overflowing from characterful blue pottery across the tables and bars; it was all too easy to forget we weren't in a sun-soaked Italian lemon grove for the day...

Perrier-Jouët at The Ned

One of our favourite events of 2019 was the elegant white party on the rooftop of The Ned hosted by Perrier-Jouët. We used luxurious white orchids, vines and amaranthus to create hanging gardens suspended above the guests while they sipped on Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blanc and ate the delicious food on offer.

A Beautiful Blossom Window for Method and Madness at Harvey Nichols

We were so excited to be tasked with creating a Cherry Blossom window display for the beautiful Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge store recently, in order to introduce Method and Madness’ limited edition Wild Cherry Wood Whiskey. We filled the window top to bottom with an explosion of silk blossom and branches to frame the mirrored plinths displaying the unique bottles, intriguing the passers-by on Sloane Street.

Atelier Romy x Perrier-Jouët, a Valentines Dinner

In February, Perrier-Jouët and chic jewellery brand Atelier Romy held their annual pre-Valentine’s Dinner at Dover Street’s stylish It Restaurant. We dressed the tables with an abundance of romantic arrangements; bloom heavy crystal cut vases on a bed of velvet rose petals created a luxurious runner. We combined peeled back Secret Garden, Hermosa and Quicksand Roses, interspersing them with gloriously scented Tuberose, Lilac, and of course the classic Perrier-Jouët white Anemone - all perfectly complimenting the beautiful glasses of Belle Epoque Champagne which were to be enjoyed throughout the evening.

Scorpios takeover of Annabel's

For the first time, Scorpios ascended to London exclusively for Annabel's Members for an entire Club takeover. We brought Mykonos to Mayfair using grasses, hay, cotton, dried artichokes and driftwood to create growing gardens for this contemporary interpretation of the Ancient Greek Agora. Each room in The Club saw Scorpios DJs taking over the decks, and Scorpios Chefs presiding over the menu, conjuring the spirit of Mykonos through music and food for a fully immersive and authentic Scorpios experience.

Soho Home's Christmas Story

We're feeling thoroughly festive after Soho Home's Christmas Story shoot at the home of party scene queen Fiona Leahy, Founder and Creative Director of her eponymous event design agency. Flowers are one of Fiona's absolute must-haves for any celebration, so we made sure to impress by using a variety of roses, dried hydrangea, snowberries, astilbe and skimmia, all in rich jewel tones across the grand fireplace and down the tables. An 8ft Christmas tree completed the seasonal scene perfectly.

Investec Derby

We were delighted to return to the racecourse for the second year running to create florals for the 2019 Investec Epsom Derby. Opulent heritage was this year's theme and we took our floral direction from the beautiful bespoke napkins designed for the event. Our creations were formed with Secret Garden And Cafe Latte roses and Bowl of Cream peonies with delphiniums, dahlias, and sweet peas in pink, gold and cream tones. Seasonal foliage created height and drama in the large statement urn arrangements with more delicate foliage trailing across the table, ceiling... and birdcages!

Chelsea in Bloom, people's champion award

In 2019 John Lewis & Partners participated in alternative floral art show Chelsea in Bloom for the first time - and we were tasked with creating a show-stopping first impression. An astounding 3,000 fresh blooms were needed to craft our ‘under the sea’ themed display on behalf of John Lewis and Edinburgh Gin. Our sustainable design sculpted flowers into tumbling waves, tropical fish and colourful corals using chicken wire and no floral foam. Edinburgh Seaside Gin inspired our choice of bladderwrack, rose and lavender to create the colourful seabed.

We were over the moon to win a Gold Award for efforts… but scooping The 2019 People’s Champion Award made our year!

Flowerbomb facade for Fenwick, Bond Street

We had brilliant fun crafting a colourful pastel explosion of 10,000 silk flowers that were intertwined with fabulous Bubblegum Balloons. The installation hung above the iconic entrance to Fenwick, Bond Street to celebrate the launch of 'The Summer Season with Alice & Tom Naylor-Leyland.' The flowerbomb was a mix of rich spring flowers and foliage, the tones of which were mirrored by the balloon colours which cascaded across the storefront designed by Banana Split.

Burberry Her Launch

For the launch of a new fragrance for women, Her Eau de Parfum, Burberry launched their ‘Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner' campaign starring Cara Delevigne. As part of the accompanying experiential activity to capture the spirit of London we worked with Burberry and RedHouse Production to create a striking installation on London’s Southbank. Inside a six-metre long perspex box, complete with scented steam effect and pink neon lighting design, we created a series of ethereal gypsophila clouds scattered with white orchids.

Blossom for Net a Porter

Net-a-Porter’s AW Trend Presentation demanded the most elegant of arrangements. We created a blossoming affair at Venue Lab’s incredible space in Mayfair, the former Indonesian Embassy - the perfect backdrop to such a stylish event. Making the most of the last of the Mount Fuji blossom, it was a final nod to a wonderful early Spring and a warm welcome to the long-anticipated summer. A dramatic entrance arrangement consisting solely of gigantic branches of white blossom formed a stylish welcome and this sleek, simple theme ran throughout the rest of the venue, from blossom and spirea arrangements in the pop-up Net-a-Porter cafe, through to the showroom itself.

Amanda Wakely for Wonderland

We had a wonderfully whimsical day working on the flower styling for Wonderland's recent Amanda Wakely shoot. Collaborating with the amazing Toni Blaze and team was an experience in itself - the creative energy was infectious! We carefully selected beautiful large blooms in pale colours to create other-worldly angel wing headpieces, creating a truly striking look. The moody industrial setting resulted in some amazing images which showcased key pieces in the latest collection beautifully.
